Analysis and Research Department

The core task of the (DAO) is to structure, organise, analyse, interpret and present information upon demand and to give advice on information in order to provide relevant knowledge for the parliamentary process.

The activities the DAO is concerned with relate to:

• providing substantive support to parliamentary investigations
• fulfilling the role of knowledge broker
• releasing, generating, safeguarding and transferring knowledge
