Communications Department
"The House of Representatives represents all of us; this is the heart of our democracy." This is the core message of the Communications Department, which serves as the lynch pin between three domains:
- the House of Representatives, the Presidium and the committees;
- the administrative body of the House of Representatives; and
- the media and the general public.
The Communications Department determines the House’s communication strategy and advises the House in this regard. It carries out relevant research and oversees various forms of communication, such as press releases, the websites, the internal bi-weekly Kamerbode magazine, the Plein2 intranet, and fact sheets. The Communications Department also manages the House’s social media accounts, such as Twitter and Facebook.
