On Wednesday 27 July, Vice President of the House of Representatives, Ms. Khadija Arib signed the following message in the book of condolence at the Norwegian embassy in The Hague:
“Dear Madam Ambassador,
On behalf of the members of the House of Representatives of the States General please accept our sincere condolences to you and your fellowmen on the cruel death of so many innocent victims during their gathering at the island of Utoya last Friday.
We recognize that everyone in Norway has been affected profoundly by this recent event.
You are in our thoughts as you strive to recover from this terrible blow for your beautiful country. We wish you and all the bereaved strength, peace, and safety in the days and months ahead."
