House debates EU-proposals for budget

The House will have a debate on June 26 to discuss EU-proposals for the budget

The House will debate the proposals by the European Union for the budget of the Dutch government, Mr. Olli Rehn,  the European commissioner for  Economic and Monetary Affairs en the Euro, visited the Netherlands on Tuesday June 11. During this visit he suggested the Dutch government an extra budget cut of 6 billion euro to meet the European demands for the financial position of the member states. In a debate on June 26 the House also will discuss the recent report by the Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis.
