New debate about prison facilities

The House will have a new debate about the government plans to reduce the number of prison facilities.

The Dutch government made a new planning for the closure of prison facilities all over the country. On June 5 a majority of the House criticised the original plan to close 24 facilities. The result was a new proposal to limit the reduction of the facilities to 16. The House will discuss this new proposal on Thursday June 27.
