The President of the German Bundesrat visits the States-General
On Wednesday 6 June, the President of the German Bundesrat, mr Horst Lorenz Seehofer, visited the Dutch States-General.
On Wednesday 6 June, the President of the German Bundesrat, mr Horst Lorenz Seehofer, visited the Dutch States-General. He was received by the President of the Senate, mr Fred de Graaf, and the President of the House of Representatives, ms Gerdi Verbeet. They had a meeting in the building of the Senate.
Diplomacy
After the meeting, the German delegation had a guided tour of the Senate Building. The visit of the President of the German Bundesrat is an annual event that is undertaken in the light of parliamentary diplomacy.
