Biography

"Keep it simple"

I used to work in the pension industry, but I kept running into legislation that made it impossible for me to do my job. That is what sparked my interest in politics and inspired me to stand as an MP. I would love to improve our pension legislation: our laws have become too complex and need to be untangled.

Actuary

I am looking forward to fleshing out actionable plans and changing legislation where necessary. As an actuary, or insurance mathematician, I have a lot of experience with mathematical models. That knowledge and experience can come in very handy, as it lets me hold nitrogen models, for example, up to the light to assess their value for policy-makers.

Leisure

In my spare time, I love to read and spend time with my family and our dog. Some of my favourite pastimes are playing games and watching shows with my children.
