Biography
"Grateful for every day we are given"
It all began somewhere around 2016. I was very dissatisfied with politics and was tired of complaining: it was time to roll up my sleeves. The views of the PVV were closest to my own, so they were the party I represented when I was elected to Zoetermeer municipal council in 2018.
Dream for the people
I am looking forward to getting things moving and making things better. The Netherlands is full of discontented people, and I hope to contribute to a happier country, with more mutual understanding and less poverty. I care deeply about people who struggle to make ends meet and my dream is for everyone to be able to get by in the future.
People person
As an MP, I hope to be able to change issues that are close to my heart. I am a real people person who loves to collaborate and I see myself as an approachable, open-minded man. People can count on me to be a passionate MP who tries his hardest to get things done through cooperation.
Business and bass guitar
I am one of the few new MPs who did not have to quit their job. I was in the process of creating my own business, that will have to stop for now. My musical exploits may also be put on the back burner, although I hope I will be able to keep playing bass guitar in my rock tribute band. Above all, I want to keep making time for my grandchildren, who, fortunately, live close by.
