States-General receive the President of Ireland

On Tuesday 3 May the President of the Senate, Mr. René Van der Linden, and the President of the House of Representatives, Ms. Gerdi Verbeet, received the President of Ireland, Ms. Mary McAleese.

On Tuesday 3 May the President of the Senate, Mr. René Van der Linden, and the President of the House of Representatives, Ms. Gerdi Verbeet, received the President of Ireland, Ms. Mary McAleese. The meeting was part of an official visit to the Netherlands by the Irish head of state.

The Presidents of the Senate and the House of Representatives spoke with Ms. McAleese in the Gravenkamer in the Senate’s building. Besides this meeting, Ms. McAleese visited the International Criminal Court, the International Court of Justice, the Mauritshuis en the European Space Organization ESA.
