On Thursday 16 June, the Chief Rabbi of the Commonwealth, Lord Sacks, visited the House of Representatives. After a short meeting with the President of the House of Representatives, ms Gerdi Verbeet, Lord Sacks met with Members of the Committee on Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation. Topic of discussion was the potential introduction of stunning in ritual slaughter methods of animals.
